New Chennai International Airport (Pictures)

The India Street has obtained the proposed pictures of the Sriperumbudur-Chennai International Airport

When it's complete it will be the largest modern airport in South Asia. The airport will do many things for Chennai including adding vast amounts of improved infrastructure. Real Estate values should soar.

Dubai International airport does not look like that. They are just using models for the layout of the Chenai Airport.

The Architects & Consultants

The Architects & Consultants who bid for Dubai seemed to have given the same models to Hyderabad and now Chennai, creating a big confusion.

For Chennai new greenfield international airport, land itself is not finalised yet. Without Topography and met data of the site, nobody can design the airport.

Well that clarifies things Kannan. If the same architect is reusing models then a lot of these designs will look alike.
