Make Money Selling your own Customed Designed Products

For anyone with a creative flair you can turn your own ideas into money with Ponoko.  The site is worth a look if you're looking for some extra money and want to sell to an international audience.  The process looks easy enough but once you drill down into the FAQ's you soon realize that you'll need some design programs to complete drawings in order to submit to the site in order for them to make it. 

It's a very cool concept, but I can't help but feel there are limitations that will make the site less than useful.  I have not tried the site myself, but if one of you have please comment.

According to the website you: (in this example Jewelry)

1. Design it you download and reads through the starter kit. Though you've never drawn in a vector software package before, you have a go at drawing a jewelry idea in Adobe Illustrator. After you've drawn up your ideas, you check out Ponoko's online materials catalog for specific details about the materials you can use.

2. Make It - From your My Ponoko account, you arranges for your design to be cut out and shipped to your house. You pay with her credit card and waits for your Ponoko package.

3.  You receive your cut out parts and makes your jewelry.
