The India blogging industry is still nascent with many still trying to reach a large audience. Unfortunately, India has been slow to adopt the internet with some estimates as low as 42,000,000 for both dial up and broadband. There are still some early blogger “celebrities” that are making an impact and we highlight them below using a five point criteria. In order to make the list, the blog subject matter needed to be primarily about India or related to India.

We've extensively covered India real estate professionals here before, now we turn our sites to Professionals working outside of India that are involved in India Real Estate. The list only includes those that are non-Indian or NRI's that have been out of country for 5 years or more. We highlight those that are making India an easier place to invest, shedding more visibility in India and working with India focused groups to bring the world to India. The top 10 are in no particular order and come from many different industries.

Despite gaining so much in the recent years, it’s a matter of shame that when The India Street decided to come up with top 3 dirtiest Asian cities, two comes from India, namely, Mumbai and New Delhi. In my opinion, Dhaka is the dirtiest Asian city followed by Mumbai and New Delhi.

Bangalore’s tallest building ranks far behind the rest of the world including in the small field of skyscrapers in India. However at a height of 126 meters the UB Tower in UB City currently ranks #1 in Bangalore.

A sign of an emerging and growing economy is the increase in litigation. You might believe this to be a bad sign but I dispute that belief because a healthy economic environment includes the presence of a fair legal system. I am not suggesting the India legal system is as fair as the UK or the US, but the simple fact that foreigners can file a lawsuit against an Indian company or individual is a good sign. If the Indian courts were as corrupt as some suggest, the cases would be thrown out of the legal system as soon as they were filed. The fact that they are not, suggests to foreigners that they have a fair chance of being heard and thus will feel more comfortable investing in India.

The Indians' faith in God and gold dates back to the Vedic times; they worshipped both. According to the World Gold Council Report, India stands today as the world's largest single market for gold consumption.

Like we have done with our other we examine the traffic trends for social networking sites that primarily target an Indian audience. In all the social networking phenomenon in India is small compared to the US (Indian social networking websites today claim a user base of around 3 million registered users) while MySpace, which has 106 million users and Orkut which has 67 million have far greater numbers.
