We've covered Antilla, the Ambani's massive mansion in the past, but it's nearing completion and the Ambani's are about to move in.  Forbes has estimated the cost at $2 billion dollars which raises the question of who/what is insuring this home?  Times Now has covered the home with this video.  Mukesh claims he's going to use the home for corporate events thus hoping for some kind of tax break on the structure I suppose.

As the new Bangalore Airport prepares for its first landing, there are still a few bugs to be worked out. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be one of the first flights to land or take off from this airport.

While India produces very little feature animation for domestic consumption (where are the India Pixar's?) they are beginning to be the back office for US majors Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony and other major production studios. Moreover there are companies like Image Metrics, Autodesk, and Soft Image that are looking at the feasibility of setting up shop in India according to sources.

Someone sent me a few of these videos of Pizza Hut employees dancing in the Pizza Hut store. Little known to the sender is that the Pizza Huts in India are owned by a franchisee and not controlled by Pizza Hut Corporate USA (they were wondering if the employees were breaking any cororate rules). Besides, the dancing and music are great!

In India, the most common treatments are heart surgery, cosmetic surgery, knee transplant and dental surgery. India is a favorable destination because its medical infrastructure and technology is on par with those in the USA and Europe.

While India's economy is skyrocketing, most Indians have never left the ground. However, an enterprising entrepreneur is giving India's poor a chance to sit in a real airplane. Amazingly the airplane is parked in his backyard in a Delhi middle class neighborhood.

I found this clip from Bloomberg on the emerging India which highlights why India is going to be resilient in the face of a US slow down. Wipro's chariman chimes in and gives his opinion that Wipro's business will not be effected.
